"already exists" via "has already existed&quo

Postby GoldDragon » Tue Apr 26, 2005 12:06 pm

I had argument with my co-workers. I insisted (and my Enlish teacher too :) ) that if I use the word "already" then it have to be present perfect.
So I said the sentence have to be next:
"Account has already existed in ...."

They said to me that it's wrong and it have to be:
"Account already exists in...."

Some of them English speakers, but a lot of then are from Amerika.

Now, I don't know who's right.
May be u can help me?
